The Discraft Ace Race is coming to Santa Cruz on Friday Oct. 19th. ?Just show up at De LaVeaga before 4:00 and register?with Sean to get your 2 Ace Race discs, hat and sticker. ?Don't be late, last year it sold out in 10 minutes!

The drawing for the baskets happened last night at the end of the FlyMart at Am Worlds. Scott held the bowl as a youngster drew out the winning ticket. Out of the 1000 tickets that were spread across the United States the winner was a Wisconsin player that? purchased his disc right here on SantaCruzDisc.com! Congratulations go to Marcus Prue of Appleton, Wisconsin. I'm hoping to get a chance to talk to Marcus sometime this week and find out what his plans for the baskets are. Santa Cruz isn't quite as well represented in the Am Worlds as in years past.? There is such a thing as quality versus qantity though.? Ruben G. and Tom McGraw have made thier ways to Wisconson to represtent DeLa and they are doing a fine job.? After the first day of competition Ruben is tied for 5th in his pool with a solid first round and Tom is tied for 4th in his pool after 3 rounds.? Tom shot over his rating to put himself in contention for the Am Masters title.

I would be remiss not to mention Bill Sherman and Matt Kelly who are representing NorCal well in the Am Masters group.? Good Luck everyone!
